All in the name of Jesus

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" Col. 3:17. Amen! But, have all understood it? Or,
have all obeyed? Of course, this is for Disciples of Christ, true Christians. The so-called Christian does not care instructions from the Lord, but he is ready to give his body to be burned by fanaticism for his religious community.
For the child of God, when God says, "all in the name of Jesus," it means "all in the name of Jesus." This needs no explanation, nor interpretation. The child of God will not do 'C to Z' in the name of Jesus or 'B to Z' in the name of Jesus, but 'A to Z' in the name of Jesus. It is a matter of beginning in the name of Jesus, growing in the name of Jesus and completing in the name of Jesus. Anyone that has not started in the name of Jesus but claims to be walking with him deceives himself.
Since we are talking about the relationship between man and God, let us see a bit its content in word or deed: preaching, repentance, baptism, forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit, worship, praise, prayers, hymns and songs, priesthood, the Lord’s supper, communion with God in Christ, fellowship, etc. But how is this relationship between man and God established? - Man must believe in God. And how does he believe? – through hearing his Word (Ro. 10:14-15). Hence, it comes about that all starts by the preaching of repentance and forgiveness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: "And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day; and repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." Lc. 24:46-47.
The soul that has been affected by such preaching repents and receives baptism, which will result in the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" Acts 2:38. None of these steps is valid unless and until it is done in the name of Jesus Christ: "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus...”  Preaching in the name of Jesus, repentance in the name of Jesus, baptism in the name of Jesus, forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus, the gift of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. The soul thus gained to the Lord may continue his life of communion with the Father in the name of Jesus, namely worshiping, praying, singing, taking the Lord's Supper, fellowshipping, washing saints’ feet, etc., all of this being done in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Whoever does certain things, but all, in the name of the Lord Jesus, the same is the "grievous wolf" mentioned in Acts 20:29-30 partly using the name of Jesus just when he needs to deceive disciples and draw them away after him. Indeed, how can we understand that someone who rejects the name of Jesus in his repentance (repentance-baptism-forgiveness are inseparable), i.e. who has never started walking with God the Father in Jesus Christ, claims to work miracles, or cast out demons or bless people in the same name he has rejected? These are the people who claim to walk with the Lord they didn’t depart with!
In the first Mass chaired by him as pope on March 14, 2013, Francis I uttered a strong statement: "If we do not proclaim Jesus, we will become a pitiful NGO, and the church will no longer be the bride of the Lord.... He who does not pray the Lord Jesus Christ, prays the devil." Source: French Radio Vatican, Facebook. This statement is quite true, and if we place it in the context of the Holy Scriptures, we shall rather say: he who does one thing without the name of Jesus, does all in the name of the devil. He who is not baptized in the name of Jesus is baptized in the name of the devil. We know that Lucifer does not like to reveal his name to his own, because he wants to keep them in darkness. Lucifer is father (Jn. 8:44), he is son (Is. 14:12) and he is spirit (Ep. 2:2). And yet his name is not father, son and holy spirit, but rather Lucifer. Likewise, our God is Father, Son and Holy Ghost, yet his name is not Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
As for us, children of the light, the Lord did not conceal the name of the Father from us, but He declared it to us, and keeps declaring it: "I have declared unto them thy name, and I will declare it" Jn. 17:6,26. In verse 11b of the same chapter he says: "Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me - so that they may be one as we are one.”  (NIV) It is one name of the Father that He also gave His only Son, and which the Holy Ghost bears as well, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, that the Father shall send in my name…” (Jn. 14:26).
Deniers and enemies of the name of Jesus Christ, which the Lord has declared to us, claim that the apostles did violate the Lord's instruction contained in Matthew 28:19: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Two important observations: First, it is one name, not three names, especially not in the titles of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Second, it is not to those detractors that the Lord did speak, but to those to whom he had already declared the name in question, and whose mind he had opened so that they could understand the scriptures (Lc. 24:45).
Suppose I give my wife instructions of our home affairs, and a stranger to our home, who becomes aware, purports to understand better the content of my message that I entrusted to my wife before no witness! what nonsense? This is absurd inasmuch as in our home affairs, my wife is the person who best understands my language. Those who do this unambiguously identify themselves as the breed of the old serpent which purported to understand better than Adam the message that God had told him by word of mouth, and then Adam had conveyed it faithfully to his wife. God had not spoken to the serpent. And these snakes hissing too much that they will give us a better understanding about baptism than the apostles, God never spoke to them. The Lord spoke "Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead" Ac. 10:41.  Eve listened to this theological explanation and sank, trailing all humanity whose she is the mother. This is exactly what the "Eve" of Christ, the Christian Church has done: She has welcomed explanations conflicting with the Word of God proclaimed by the witnesses he himself selected, even the apostles.
Those who, like Eve, listen to the deniers of the Name of Jesus, by which we are saved, and are baptized in the name of the devil hiding behind the titles of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, must know that they serve and worship Lucifer. Regardless of everything else they do in the name of Jesus. It is a question of All or Nothing in Jesus' name: Starting with the name of Jesus, growing with the name of Jesus and completing in the name of Jesus. Whoever does not depart with the name of Jesus, and claims he is progressing with that name, is a liar at noonday.
We know, moreover, that both in the Old Testament and in the New, there have ever been people who perform deeds and words in the name of the Lord without the Lord sending them. We see an example in Jeremiah 23, prophets who prophesy lies in the name of the Lord. Similarly, our Lord has mentioned them in Matthew 7:22-23. These people use the Lord's name without revelation and without obeying his voice. They cannot do All in the name of Jesus either, as the Lord has urged us, because they do not believe in his Words. They can only use the name of Jesus to make themselves accepted by people as servants of Christ, and ensure their own advertising and thus become famous, with the aim to draw the sheep, not after the Lord of glory, but after themselves.

If you feel blessed, share and pour out the same blessings.
