Faith comes by hearing the word of God

Ro. 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
He who is of God hears the words of God, says the Lord in Jn. 8:47, and whoever is not of God does not listen to the words of God. There is no faith pleasing to God without the Word of God.
And as we have already seen, this word is holy and pure to produce pure and holy faith as well, i.e. in which no mixture can be found. The Lord compared this faith to a mustard grain, Lc. 17:6 "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, and it should obey you.” Scientists have discovered that the mustard seed cannot be hybridized. It is the same with the true faith; it cannot suffer mixing with human interpretation, it does not mix with disbelief.
To support this, Paul pushes further, Ga. 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed! As we have said before, so say I now again: if a man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed!” The word of God, the gospel that produces genuine faith and pleasing to God, was announced and established as the foundation of faith once and for all by the apostles. Therefore, God, through Paul, emphasizes that even an apostle, even an angel from heaven, cannot bring any change whatever thereto (adding or taking away anything) without bearing curse.
"If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed ... this sycamine should obey you" First is the absolute faith in the word of God without mixture, then the miracle or blessing is the result, the reverse is devilish, it is magic. Men/women who reject the truth but promise or deliver miracles and blessings to the people are false christs and false prophets mentioned in the Bible (Matt. 24:11) producing deceptive miracles and deceptive blessings ( IITh. 2:9), forasmuch as they are based on the power of a spirit other than the Spirit of Truth.
Hb. 11:1,6 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ... But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Believing is not to understand beforehand what will happen, it is not to see or experience; believing is to have firm assurance that the God who spoke is powerful and faithful enough to perform it. Believing is to seek God diligently with all your heart, to try and know what is the perfect will of the creator, what is the truth of the Most High in the midst of so much confusion.
And this genuine faith is a letter of credit to God. Whoever believes as says the scripture, God owes him all in Jesus-Christ, Ep. 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." Ro. 8:32 " He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" It is a matter of being in Christ Jesus - yet Jesus Christ is the Word, the truth - and all spiritual blessings in heavenly places will find you in there. God can deny nothing to anyone that is in the truth, Jn. 15:7 "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
Thus we see that the unique faith gives us the title of Son of Abraham (Ga. 3:7), or co-heir of all the promises made to him, Gn. 12:2-3; 15:1,18; 16:10; 22:17 "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and I will make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. …I am thy shield, and thy exceedingly great reward. ...Unto thy seed have I given this land... I will multiply thy seed exceedingly ... and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies."
In verse 18 of chapter 22, God says, "... because thou hast obeyed my voice." All the promises of God are yes and amen on the condition they find faith, but when you don’t believe or obey, you make them of no value to you. Similarly, if we obey his voice, we can go to him with assurance to obtain from him everything he owes us in Jesus Christ, namely, the forgiveness of sins, the salvation of our souls, healing, the gift of the Holy Spirit, justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Spirit, possessing the gate of the enemy, etc.
But if you obey another voice, of your church or your pastor, well, do not speak to God to require anything, but speak to your church. Behold, here is where people should not be surprised to see drought in their lives, despite the prayers and other spiritual exercises which they engage in. They can flatter themselves with sensations during the few minutes or hours of their meetings and shout, Blessed are we! Blessed are we! Alleluia! ... But at the end of the meeting and thereafter, their conscience testifies to them that there is nothing. Sin, worldliness and guilty conscience are still there. It is simply meaning that God is not in all this, and in the end of days he will tell them, Mt.7,23 "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." And their churches which are the real idols of their faith will unfortunately not do anything to help. They are idols without power to help them, except illusions and flattery.
Oh, it is a huge misfortune to be disconnected from the unique and authentic source of blessing, by focusing on beliefs that God has not entrusted to mankind, because one is then cut off from all the promises of God, maybe without even realizing.
If you feel blest, share and pour out the same blessings.
