Apostles’ Mission (1)

“19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”  Mt 28.
In the four Gospels, we are reported thirty two times that Jesus taught,
as the following: “47And he taught daily in the temple” Lc 19. But these Gospels do not state the full content of what he taught daily. John even recognizes the impossibility of jotting down in writing all of the teachings: “25And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”  Jn 21. Yet, according to his command, we must obey all things whatsoever he commanded. How then can we observe his teachings that we do not know? since we have not been in contact with him personally. All churches and religions, all our reverends, ministers, cardinals, popes, etc. have not been in personal contact with Jesus to faithfully report what he taught daily, which we must scrupulously observe.
The Lord, the only guarantor of his work, chose his own witnesses who had to follow him around, hear all his teachings either public, private, or even in intimacy. Here is how he proceeded to their election “12And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 13And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; 14Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, 15Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, 16And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.” Lc 6. Was Lord wrong and should we correct Him? - Yes for those who dare to challenge God! and they must not deny their identity as sons of the devil. But “God saw that it was good” Ge 1:10, and all those who are of God also see that it was good.
When Judas Iscariot betrayed, according to the scriptures, the eleven cast lots to elect his successor, in the person of Mathias (Act 1:15-26). They did this before receiving the promised Holy Spirit whereas the Lord had told them “but wait for the promise of the Father, (Act 1:4) until ye be endued with power from on high(Lc 24:49).”  Whilst they were casting their lots, the Lord already knew Saul that he would rename Paul. The Lord himself called him and elected him Apostle to the Gentiles as he had personally called and elected the eleven. Thus, as the eleven, Paul could introduce “1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)” Ga 1. So there are apostles created by men (college of servants) or one man (Pope /e.g.), and there are apostles called and chosen by the Lord himself.
All those who love the Lord, with happy amazement, see the unity of the Spirit and cohesion in which the apostles worked. Paul had never had any doctrinal contact with the eleven, but he preached the same apostolic doctrine he had received by revelation from the same Jesus: he proclaimed Jesus, baptized in Jesus' name and glorified Jesus in everything. He says “23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” 1Co 1, and more, “2For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” 1Co 2. Jesus Christ is the sole theme of the apostolic preaching recognized both in heaven and on earth. In the new covenant, the great God, Jehovah of the Old Testament came to save the world in his Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth in fulfillment of the promises made by the prophet Isaiah and other prophets of the Old Testament. In the New Covenant, it is not recognized in heaven and on earth Jehovah's Witnesses, but only witnesses of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ: « 48And ye are witnesses of these things. » Lc 24. “and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Act 1.
But we note that, despite this revelation received directly from the Lord Jesus Christ, Paul did not remain quiet before checking his doctrine to verify it was conformable with the eleven « 1Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. 2And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.” Ga 2. What wisdom of a true servant of God! “15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.”  Pr 12. The servants of God who refuse to check their way with the one drawn before by God and revealed in Christ and presented to us by his holy apostles; can they have the grace and humility to recognize that they are foolish? Can they recognize the risk of running or having run, in vain?
If a person passes himself off as a disciple of Christ (Christian), he must be the result of this Lord’s order to His holy apostles « Go therefore and make disciples of all nations (NIV) » and therefore observe everything whatever the Lord commanded the apostles, which the apostles have told and taught us. Anyone who is a Christian in another way, Christian he is in his own imagination, and runs or will have run in vain. « 21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”  Jn 20. “40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.”  Mt 10. “20Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.” Jn 13. We read earlier in the passage in Luke that Jesus, after choosing the twelve, named them apostles (=sent). And here now the Lord clarifies: no one can get God out of the teachings of these men.
Therefore, by the Lord’s grace, revelation and will, all true disciples continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching: « 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. » Ac 2. “4And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.” Act.16 “17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ”  Jude 1. “2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour” 2P 3. The Spirit insists that it is not a matter of innovation that so-called apostles could bring to us today, but things announced in advance at the time of the founding of the Church. Even the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah we have been taught by them.
It pleased the Lord to lay, through them, the doctrinal foundation on which his whole Church is built: « 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone »  Eph 2. This foundation is not only recognized on earth, but in heaven also, which is the foundation of our eternal heavenly abode, even the New Jerusalem: « 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. »  Ap 21. The foundation of the house of God, in heaven and on earth, bears the names of the twelve apostles (not of any pope, reverend, etc.), and all who follow are builders, without warrant to lay a new foundation: 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1Co 3.
What do we say then? – that after the twelve, apostles no longer existed? Far from that! “28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” 1Co 12. As long as the Church exists, there will be apostles (the first ministry) and other ministries. Here's what I say, an apostle sent by God does not come to lay a new foundation (new teachings our fathers, the twelve, did not know), but to show the people the old foundations laid in advance by the twelve on which any builder hired by God is supposed to build. If he does not, he is a false apostle: “13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2Co 11. The concerned men preached another Jesus than the one preached by the twelve, another spirit than the one received, or another gospel than the one welcomed from the twelve. Paul lamented that the Corinthians tolerated such men.
Every true disciple/Christian has the obligation to unmask false apostles, and God will delight in, and praise him: “2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars” Ap 2. One must be a fake Christian to bear with a fake apostle, but a true Christian will always try and unmask a false apostle, and will not bear with him. If you fail to test those who call themselves apostles, or if you bear with them even though your consciousness and divine light testify that they are fake apostles, it means that you deliberately sell your soul, and you leave up your eternal destiny fate in the hands of the evil ones!
