Genealogical title (3)

“And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.” Ge.4,17.

I want us to keep this in mind that in the sight of God there are only two genealogical branches: the genealogical branch of blessings which is the lineage of Adam, son of God, and the genealogical branch of curses which is the lineage of Cain, who was of that evil one, and slew his brother Abel. Every man on earth belongs to either genealogical branch, which is verified through the genealogical title - it is recommended to read the previous two parts of the topic. For the genealogical branch cursed, the genealogical title is to reject the counsel of God as did their physical ancestor Cain (Ge.4:6-8). His great-grandsons stood there in front of Jesus four millennia later, passing themselves off as the genealogy of Abraham while opposing the truth. He helped them note: “He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” Jn.8,47.

But as the devil, who is the spiritual ancestor of the lineage, sought to dominate since heaven, so also his children on earth were the first to found cities, towns, kingdoms and empires and to exercise hegemony over the whole earth. Our Lord is King of kings and Lord of lords, but he made this confession before Pilate “My kingdom is not of this world” Jn.18,36. World imperialism is exerted by the power of the devil (1Jn.5:19) and is a fact of genealogy. Cain was the first to build cities. This spirit has been passed on from generation to generation. The Bible shows us the historical and scientific achievements of this genealogy since the Genesis. For example, we read that Jubal, who was the seventh after Cain, was the father of all the great talented musicians, and his brother Tubal-Cain was the one who introduced the Bronze Age (Ge.4:21-22).

A little later Nimrod, who was the son of Ham, who had discovered the nakedness of his father, began to be mighty upon the earth to sustain this spirit of domination and imperialism. He founded the first empire in the land of the living, the ancient Babylonian empire, which reached its high point with Hammurabi and Assurbanipal. Pharaonic Egypt took over to rule over all the earth, before handing over control to the new Babylonian Empire of Nebuchadnezzar. Cyrus the Great took over and founded the Medo-Persian Empire, which was replaced by the Greek hegemony of Alexander the Great. It is finally the Roman Empire that retrieved the hegemonic power to rule one way or another till the judgment of this cursed genealogy. Nebuchadnezzar saw in a vision all these hegemonies, as of his own, forming a single statue of a man (Da.2), which is none other than the devil whose they exercise the power to rule over the world.

Therefore, the paganism that characterizes the Roman Empire is genealogical. It is the world paganism that was found with the Greeks, Medes, Persians, Babylonians, Egyptians, and goes back to Cain, and to the devil. The pagan doctrine of Trinity – which we cannot find in the Bible - was found in each of these empires mentioned above: it is a belief which is attached to the pagan genealogy. Intermediaries between God and men, the queen of heaven, and all other forms of Roman idolatry, all this is part of the genealogical identity of the hegemonies the world has experienced. The uniqueness of the Roman Empire is to be able to adorn this paganism with an apparent form of Christianity: it is the historical marriage against nature that the world has ever experienced: marriage between Christian beliefs and pagan-Roman beliefs. And this marriage resulted in a supposedly Christian church bearing, not the name of Christ, but of the same empire that is worldwide and pagan: Roman Catholic Church (there’s no Christ or Jesus in that name). So she is a 'global' church (Catholic = universal, global) and under the authority of Rome, the city that, through her, has authority over all the earth.

Now the Church of God is Christian and heavenly. She has no authority on earth, and is not accountable before any authority in the world, because she has a single head to whom she submits, namely Christ. She has no beliefs derived from the Babylonian, Indian, Egyptian, Chinese, Greco-Roman, etc. wisdom, but only lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Mt.4,4). In the new covenant, all the children of God are in Christ. Jesus Christ is the seed of the woman that had been promised to crush the head of the other seed. Jesus Christ is the innumerable posterity that was promised to Abraham. Jesus Christ is the promised seed of David, whose reign will never end. Jesus Christ is the one whose advent was announced by all the prophets, he is the Word of God that gives to whoever believes in Him the power to become a child of God.

All those who are born of God in Jesus Christ, descend therefore from the genealogy of promises, they are children of the Word which is spirit and life. They are all driven by the same Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, and speak the same language, that of their master, the Christ. He stood in front of his opponents and spoke the language of his father which could not please the world. Then they sent officers to seize him (Jn.7,32 and the rest). As the officers had approached him and heard him speak, they realized that it was not a man who spoke, but God himself. Instead of catching him, in execution of the arrest warrant they had received from the Pharisees, they were themselves rather caught by the power of the Word of God that proceeded from his mouth. Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees, and answered: “Never man spake like this man.” 

That was his identity: the Word of God which differs from the word of any man. And to speak like him, it takes to be born of God through faith in Him. Scientists, philosophers and theologians speak, and we comprehend that men of great wisdom and/or knowledge are talking. But when a child of God speaks, it is different: “Never man spake like this man,” because his language is not of this world but of heaven. God's children speak a language that is attached to their genealogy, whose root is Christ. There is no child of God who can have a language in which the world finds its bearings, and there is no language discrepancy in the heavenly genealogy.

Peter, who was born of God, because he believed in the Word that gives power to become a child of God, tried to deny his family title when his Master was arrested. But he was born of the Spirit and his heart had been circumcised, so that the words that proceeded from his mouth did not sound like the words of the world genealogy. He was soon identified and told, “Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. Mt.26,73b. That is what identifies us, not our way of singing, dancing, prophesying, speaking in tongues, praying, fasting, etc. Demons can sing better than any Christian, prophesy, pray, speak in tongues, and do everything else better than any Christian, and still remain demons.

But all this did not identify Peter as a son of the kingdom, but his speech, he talked like Jesus. The same words proceeding from the mouth of Jesus also proceeded from his: he was of the genealogy, things could not be otherwise. The words of truth were the abundance of his heart, and as he had believed, thus he spoke. “I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2Cor.4,13). No one can come to speak differently from men, or talk like Jesus unless he believed in the Word of God that came down from heaven and returns to heaven. When the everlasting Gospel abounds in our heart, then our mouth let out gracious words that never man has ever been permitted to let out of his mouth. Because what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart (Mt.15,18), «For of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.» Lc.6,45b.

Otherwise, however hard one speaks about God, salvation, eternal life, and everything else, one will still speak after the world, “They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 1Jn.4,5.

If we are to summarize, we say that the genealogical title is the proof that each and every child of God must show, that he/she has membership in the lineage of God which is Christ. The holy scriptures have informed us that one does not belong to the divine genealogy through fleshly operation, the fact of belonging to a church, but we must receive the circumcision of the heart made ​​by God himself through the ever valid Gospel. God's children (who are born of God) worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth. Anyone can obtain the power to be born and become a child of God and enjoy the blessings that accompany this genealogy, if he believes in the Word that God has spoken from his own mouth, not men’s religious inventions.
