"And when Abram was
ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am
the Almighty God; Walk before me, and be thou perfect." Ge.17,1. "And
Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Ge. 5:24.
At exactly one year before the
coming of the promised son to Abram, God appeared to him
to demand perfection.
Enoch who is the seventh from Adam, had the grace and favor to walk before God,
i.e. uprightly and in integrity, because he should not see death, but had to be
taken up. Whenever God wants to do something great with his family, he demands
them to walk with Him in unusual uprightness and integrity.
Hear what David says: "Lord,
who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that
walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart." Ps. 15:1-2.
In chapter
24, David adds (vers 4) "Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity” “who does not lift up his soul to an idol"
(NIV) “Who does not hand over his
heart to deception” (Segond). Still we can read more with
David "Examine
me, O Lord, and prove me, try my reins and my heart, for thy lovingkindness is
before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy Truth." Ps. 26:2-3.
Soon God will do great things,
namely, to take up his bride at the seventh age after the apostles. Indeed, as
Adam who was the father of all the seed died, likewise the apostles who are the
fathers of all that believe in Jesus through their word died at the age of
Ephesus. All those who followed Adam, up to Jared, the sixth after Adam, and father
of Enoch, died. Similarly, after the apostles in the age of Ephesus, followed the
age Smyrna, the age of Pergamus, the age of Thyatira, the age of Sardis and the
age of Philadelphia, and they passed through death before they see the
fulfillment of redemption. But the bride of the seventh age, the Laodicean age,
like Enoch, who was the seventh, shall see her redemption without going through
death. That is why God brings all back to perfection with her: God requires from
her: "Walk
before me, be blameless: speak the truth in your heart, do not hand over your soul
to vanity, walk in Truth"
"Blessed is he that
shall eat bread in the kingdom of God!” Lk. 14:15. Those that will
take meal in heaven are the same that will abide in the tent of the Lord, that will
ascend into the hill of the Lord, that will stand in his holy place (Ps.
24:3): here, it is the rapture of the bride of Christ. You can also
be included, if you do not hand over your soul to lie, but walk in the Truth.
There are errors to which God could turn a blind eye from the second age to the
sixth age, as they were not ages of perfection. But in the first age of the
Church, with the apostles, the truth was proclaimed in all its purity. As of the
check-out of the Apostles, the Church began to allow in non apostolic
doctrines.
Beginning with Martin Luther, at
the age of Sardis, God gradually restored the apostolic teachings. Truth should
gradually take over its place and hunt deception out. And at the seventh age,
God needs to perfect the bride of Christ, she must appear before him without
spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless (Ep. 5:27). The Word
came down from heaven, He was made flesh to dwell with us, and then He ascended
back to heaven where He had come from. Similarly, the Church which is expected
to be taken up is the Church-Word. Whatever did not come from heaven shall never
ascend to heaven: dogmas, precepts, currents, opinions preached in churches without proceeding
from heaven shall remain on earth. Only the Word made flesh in the Bride of
the Lamb shall ascend to the holy hill of the Lord, because it came from there.
The book of Job shows us three
wise men: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite.
These three wise men developed speeches of wisdom and higher knowledge for
days, trying to convince Job to recognize his faults and repent, so that the
evil might be removed from him. Their teachings and maxims had an unequalled force
of conviction. All readers of this book may find nothing wrong with these wise
who, all in all, thought they were advocating the cause of God, "I
will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my
Maker." Job 36:3. It will be very strange to see God's response
to these 'advocates of the Most High': "And it was so, that after
the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite:
My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: because ye have not spoken of me the
thing that is right, as my servant Job hath" Job 42:7.
Many are they who set themselves
up as servants, if not advocates of the cause of God. They speak of God with
zeal, passion and utmost; yet as these three men, they do not speak in
righteousness: they are just fanatics of God, but the Word of God in their
mouth is not Truth. Job spoke of God in righteousness, he was honest,
he had the revelation that those who are in Christ are sinless and innocent before
God (Ps.
6;9-10; 26:1; Ro. 8:1). Also, by revelation he knew that for us, the
innocent ones in Christ, evil does not reach us because of sin we might have
committed, as it is written, "He hath not dealt with us after our
sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities." Ps. 103:10;
but so that his glory may beam out: "Jesus answered: Neither hath this man
sinned, nor his parents sinned: but that the works of God should be made
manifest in him." Jn. 9:3.
So Job spoke of God in
revelation, his friends spoke of God giving their perception, saying what they
thought to be true, "Men of understanding shall be of
my view, the wise man who listens to me will think like me" (Segond)
Job 34:34. God is against anyone who speaks of him in
his perception, or by what he thinks to be true. The servant who walks in
righteousness and is upright before God is the one who proclaims the Word of
God faithfully, abiding by its wording, without mixing his perception and what
he thinks to be right. Eliphaz and his two friends were certain to
please God in this business, but how big was their surprise! they
were sincere but in the wrong. If you are sincere in your relationship with
God, that's already some good thing: now query whether you are not in the wrong.
Anyone that is sincere in the wrong, the same is the fanatic or follower.
And we should recall that it is the fanaticism of the Jews which called the
blood of the righteous to fall on them and their children for generations.
Job was restored in a double
portion on his integrity, but the wrath of God was kindled against the
fanatics. Soon the Church that walks before God uprightly, which does not hand over
her soul to deception, but walks in the truth, shall be restored in the double
portion of the fame the Apostolic Church had. And those who speak of God by
what they think to be true, and those who amaze the world today by lying
miracles shall all be ridiculous.
So there are those who are not upright
because they are mistaken, though being sincere. God commands Job to pray for
them, that God may forgive them if they repent of their error and walk in the
truth. But there are also those who are not upright from the bottom of their
heart. Of these all are Jannes and Jambres who knowingly oppose the Truth.
And about them, the Spirit expressly says: "But they shall proceed no further:
for their folly shall be manifest to all, as their’s also was." 2Tim. 3:9.
Of these are also all Simonists who seek God with a hidden agenda to have the
power of the Holy Spirit for magical purposes and ruling over God's people. The
Spirit told their great-grandfather Simon the magician, "Thou hast neither part
nor lot in this matter: for thy heart
is not right in the sight God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness,
and pray God, if perhaps the thought
of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in
the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity" Ac. 8:21-23.
Those who seek God sincerely and
honestly, being not in righteousness or integrity, have been misled by these
Jannes and Jambres and Simon the magician. They simply need to turn their souls
away from lies, only turn to the truth with all their heart and walk in the Truth,
and God shall approve them.
If you feel blessed, share and pour out the same blessings.
