You have said in your heart

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the holy mount of the congregation, at the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High." Es.14,13-14 .
This is the song against the king of Babylon (v.4), but the ambitions we have just read are ambitions of a god, not of a man. And in verse 12, God called his name: Lucifer (which means 'light bearer'). Often prophecies against kings, princes and nobles of the world speak directly to Satan, whose power they wield. We find the same style in Ezekiel 28:
"Son of man, say to the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas" Ez.28,2. In the same chapter, the son of man utters a lamentation against the king of Tyrus, which reveals out that God is not speaking to a man but Lucifer himself: "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou  hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. ... Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I' will lay thee before the kings, that they may behold thee” v.14 and 17. He who rebelled in heaven, which is in the heavenly places (Ep.6, 12) and will soon be cast down, is described in Revelation 12 as the great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, with seven crowns, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world.
This overview shows that rebellion is not of earthly background, but heavenly. Kings and nobles who are proud up to claiming to be sovereign without accountability to God, are simply under the influence of Lucifer. And this rebellion is called ‘iniquity’ in Ezekiel 28 "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." v.15.
So if sin was manifest for the first time on earth in Eden, sin is however much older Adam and Eve, and has its origins in heaven. Inequity for Eve, was simply to accept the influence of Lucifer who, millennia before, had already developed in his heart rebellious impulses. He had rebelled in heaven, then he managed to cause several angels in his rebellion, and in Eden, the garden of God, the woman was the first person to be deceived, "The woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat"Ge.3,13. She thus opened the door to Lucifer to achieve his plan to deceive the whole world, as he had already done in heaven.
Now back to sin in heaven, we see that there has never been any impurity in heaven, or adultery, or murder, or robbery, or rape, or greed, or fornication, etc.., but there was sin or iniquity in heaven. Also, Lucifer who rebelled against God never spoke any rebellion word against God, nor worked any act of disobedience, but He was perfect in his ways from the day he was created, till iniquity was found in him (v.15).
Nobody ever heard Lucifer utter from his mouth "I will be like the Most High," but all this took place in the heart "Thou hast said in thine heart...”  God searches the hearts and reins. God does not charge us our appearances, but he pursues what is in the bottom of our hearts. In appearances, Satan is the son of the morning, he is wiser than Daniel, he is obedient and dedicated, in short, he is apparently holy and pious. He is a spirit, he cannot be tempted by the desires of the flesh: fornication, murder, rape, theft, etc., but in his heart he is wicked, as he opposes the will of God, he does not recognize that to God alone should return glory, honor, praise, holiness and power.
Now, he being higher than the angels, a guardian cherub, he entailed many angels in heaven in the same rebellion against God, and now he similarly deceives the whole world to entail it into the same. This deception which passed through the woman was revealed in Cain. While he was on the wrong way, the Lord spoke to him to call him back on the right track, but he declined and acted following what seemed good to him (Ge.4,6-7). And Jesus said «Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning..." Jn.8,44. He who committed the first murder in the beginning was Cain, and of him the Lord was speaking as son of the devil incarnate in the flesh and ancestor of all sons of the devil in the flesh.
The works of the flesh which are the result of rebellion against God began to be manifest when the son of the evil opposed the counsel of God. In 2 Timothy 3 Paul gives us attributes of those who oppose the truth: "Selfish, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, trucebreaker, slanderers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of good, traitors, heady, arrogant, loving pleasure more than God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. From such turn away... Now as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men oppose the truth ..." v.2-5,8. They oppose the truth because in heart they follow the way of their father, the devil, who opposed the sovereignty of God in heaven. What becomes manifest in the flesh is the result of the rebellion in the heart against the truth.
Korah, Dathan and Abiram opposed the choice made by God upon Moses in a sovereign way, because in their heart they followed the way of their father the devil, and they went down alive into Sheol (Nb.16). King Saul rejected the word of the Lord by carrying out what seemed good to him, instead of strictly enforcing the commandment of the LORD, because in his heart he followed the way of the rebel Lucifer, and God also rejected him as king on his people Israel (1Sam.15).
As Cain was religious and enjoyed  worshiping – none the less, not as God wants, but as it seemed good to him – so also his great-grand-sons enjoy  worshiping God, not as God advises them to, but the way they want to impose on God. All those who recognize God as Sovereign King, they know that when God speaks, they have to shut up, bow down, believe and obey. Whoever answers back when God speaks, same is he who says in his heart: "I want to be like the Most High. As he gives his word, I also shall give my word, so that people will believe in me, and obey me". He wants people to worship him as they worship God, he wants to have his own people, as God has his people, and this all is Luciferian, and it is the religion of Cain. This got spread ever since all over the world, and the Lord found it out in Israel: "God said... But you say..." (Mc.7,10-10) as we discussed in the number Word of God made ineffective.
Today, we identify the same religion of Cain in even in 'what is called Christianity’. These great-grand-sons of Cain do not recognize God as the only Sovereign who alone is entitled to speak, but when God says X, they also say Y: "God says... But you say...". They have in their heart the purpose of making men believe their own words and thus be like the Most High.
In contrast, as for the Church of Christ, she is the body, and Christ is the head. The mouth is to the head, and it speaks, and all members bow down: the members have nothing to say. Similarly, the Church of Christ has nothing to say, but only believes the Word of God, as God speaks. All body members have no own opinion to issue, but they all subject to the resolution of the head. Similarly, members of the Church of Christ (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers and other believers) have no own opinion to issue, but they simply walk in the Word of Christ recorded in the scriptures.
If you feel blessed, share and pour out the same blessings!
